Custom Lightbox Blueprints
Using some basic materials, I made a killer light box over my piano that spots the keys.

Essentially, you just need some black foam-core, a razorblade, a cutting board (or surface), some black tape, and dream.
Not really much to say, but this takes light from the LED tube and directs it into a bar or beam of light. Itâs very practical over the keyboard. It allows for you to lower the exposure on a camera and have that rich black background without the subject dying out.
Iâd say itâs 3 f-stops brighter than the background.
My measurements are in metric.
