Please (Studio) - by Pretty City Lights
"The first line is 'Take me and leave me alone'—that comfort of being deeply in love, where you can both sit at dinner and give each other that kind of space.

“This recording accidentally took a year to complete. It’s totally amazing. I don’t normally talk like this about a song, but I spent so much time tinkering with it, it deserves this beastly moniker. “Please” is a unique song. It can absorb and withstand anything you throw at it. It’s easy for the band to play. It’s easy to sing. The lyrics have multiple meanings. Its layers of sound invite listener to lean in. It’s rather long. I believe I solved this dilemma in the second half’s fascinating misdirection. The journey of making this song dates back to 1991, when I first chopped at the riff, recording on my 4-track. This original cassette recording featured my friend Shane Tise. I so happy that he accepted my request of designing the cover art, which is in itself filled with mystical wonderment. I hope everyone enjoys this version, “Please (Studio)”. I’ve shot video of myself recording all the parts, which I will be releasing steadily. ✌🏼 Ryno”
